National Textile&Garments Patent Database Launched
The 2004 China Online Technology Market Week and the Hangzhou Technology Cooperation Week started Nov 13. One of the major issues of the event – the national textile and garments patent database and the seven countries and two organizations patent database were launched the same day. These will offer free-of-charge complete patent information services to Hangzhou enterprises.

The national textile and garments patent database (www.ip.gov.cn) is one of the ten most significant intellectual property databases compiled on a national level by the State Intellectual Property Office. It comprises complete patent information for the textile and garments sector, as well as patent information on seven countries and two organizations (China, the USA, the UK, Japan, Germany, France, Switzerland; the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization).
