China’s First Blue Paper on Intellectual Property Rights recently published

“The Blue Paper on China’s Intellectual Property Rights” has recently been published. As the first book thoroughly reflecting the protection and status of the intellectual property rights in China, it presents a general overview on the basic information of the intellectual property rights in China from 2005 to the first half of 2006 including the domestic legislation, law enforcement, industrialization, authorization, academic activities, professional training as well as international protection.

The core of the Blue Paper is the Report on the Development of China’s Intellectual Property Rights, which introduces not only the significant events and typical cases in the filed of intellectual property rights in China but the overview of the international news, developments of members of the intellectual property rights convention, latest development of the legislation in various countries, the problems and prospects as well.

It is reported that, with full and accurate data in more than 400,000 words, the Blue Paper is regarded as an encyclopedia for better understanding of the status of the intellectual property rights in China. With the participation by scholars from well-known domestic universities and research organizations, the Blue Paper reflects the fruits achieved in many respects in the research of intellectual property rights and the strength of the Chinese scholars as well.
