Chong Quan Met with IPR Protection Group from Japan
March 19, 2009On February 11, 2009, Chong Quan, an assistant to China’s Minister of Commerce, met with an intellectual property protection group from Japan led by Kunio Nakamura, the Chairman of the Board of Panasonic Corporation, and Takaiti Sanae, the Vice Minister of Industry and Economy Department of Japan.
The two sides discussed IPR cooperation between China and Japan, the establishment of the working group, and IP protection on the Internet. Chong proposed suggestions on IPR education and how to cooperatively avoid IPR abuse.
Both sides agreed that cooperation between China and Japan is important for the development of a strong economic relationship between the two countries and to help both sides cope with the global economic crisis.
